A "Retro" Overview of Retrospectives

On March 3, 2011, BenchmarkQA welcomed local QA and test professionals for a Software Quality Forum presentation focused on retrospectives, a.k.a. postmortems. Attendees gained an understanding of the purpose, the process, and the value of a retrospective in improving software releases – and had a little fun laughing at 80's fashions as well. (No one would admit to having a mullet hairstyle in their younger days!)

In addition to the what, why, when and how's of retrospectives, Betty Schaar – BenchmarkQA's training practice lead and senior consultant – devoted a significant portion of the event to sharing lessons learned about the challenges and successes of performing retrospectives (tips contributed by over a dozen experts in the QA industry).
